A coding agent that works from your own context.

Primacode runs in your terminal, calls Prima and nothing else, and writes what it learns back into your company Stone. It spends the same balance as the chat and the API.

Install

One line on macOS and Linux, one file on Windows.

The script downloads the build for your machine, puts it in ~/.primacode/bin and adds that to your PATH. On Windows, download the .exe below and run it from a terminal.

Then set your key: export PRIMA_API_KEY=... with a key from developer.prima.li › Schlüssel (scope ai). Without a key Primacode stops and says so; it never runs on another provider.

Builds

Five builds, one file each, checksummed.

Each download is a single binary. Checksums for all five are in SHA256SUMS on the release. The row marked as probably yours is a guess from your browser, not a decision.

These builds are not code-signed yet. On macOS a file you download in the browser is quarantined and will not open; the install line above is not quarantined, and for a browser download "xattr -d com.apple.quarantine primacode" clears it. On Windows, SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC"; "More info" then "Run anyway" starts it. On Linux nothing stands in the way. Signing follows once the Apple Developer ID and Azure Trusted Signing identities are issued; this note goes away on that day.

Updates

Where the tool takes updates from.

Primacode checks the same release page for a newer version and tells you; it does not update itself. Re-running the install line replaces the binary.
